WWE SmackDown went live on Tuesday nights this week, but it wasn’t the only wrestling show that moved nights. TNA Impact moved back to Thursdays and this week Impact featured a title vs. title match inside six sides of steel for the main event.
Bobby Lashley defended his TNA World Heavyweight Championship belt against Eddie Edwards who was defending his TNA X-Division Championship and in the end it was Bobby Lashley who walked away with both belts. This is Lashley’s first run with the X-Division Championship.
PWInsider is reporting that TNA has changed the date for this year’s Bound For Glory event. It was originally planned for September 11th, but TNA has moved the date to October 24th so that the show won’t conflict with WWE Backlash.
