WWE has been in recruitment mode over the last few months as the company has added some interesting names to the roster. You never know who might show up, and it seems that WWE could be preparing for another big debut.
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE sources have confirmed Hikuleo has joined the company, but his start date has not been confirmed. In recent months Hikuleo’s brothers Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa have joined WWE.
Hikuleo last competed for NJPW at NJPW Dominion on 6/9. His deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling expired in June and the expectation was that he would be leaving the company. It was noted that WWE originally had interest in Haku’s sons in January of 2023. However, the TKO merger created an informal hiring freeze.
At this point there’s no word on what WWE has planned for Hikuleo as far as creative is concerned, but the company recently filed to trademark the name “Talla Tonga” which has led to speculation among fans that The Bloodline could be getting a new member at some point in the future.
