New Trailer, Cover And Gameplay Details Announced For WWE Battlegrounds

Fans won’t be getting a new installment of the annual WWE 2K series this year, but 2K will be releasing a new WWE game.

Today 2K released a new trailer for WWE Battlegrounds and announced that the game is now available for pre-order. The official release date for the game will be September 18.

It was also announced that the game will feature over 70 WWE Superstars and Legends. The official cover and trailer can be seen below.

Edge is the pre-order bonus for the standard game, and the Deluxe Edition of the game includes the following:

• Base game
• Digital Deluxe Bonus Pack – Raise some hell with Stone Cold Steve Austin, lay the SmackDown with the Attitude Era version of The Rock and get rowdy with Ronda Rousey. The WWE 2K Battlegrounds Digital Deluxe Edition includes three versions of each Superstar.
• Edge Totally Awesome Pre-Order Pack – WWE 2K Battlegrounds will reek of awesomeness with WWE Hall of Famer Edge, included in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
• Currency Pack – Includes 1100 Golden Bucks, used to unlock additional Superstars and vanity items.
