A few weeks ago a rumor hit the internet wrestling community claiming that Chris Jericho, Jim Ross and The Elite were working behind the scenes to put together a new wrestling promotion that would reportedly be financed by the Khan family.
Chris Jericho and Jim Ross later brushed off the rumors, but some recently filed trademarks have poured some gasoline on the fire.
PWInsider is reporting that a company called All Elite Wrestling based in Jacksonville, FL recently filed trademarks for the following:
*All Elite Wrestling
*AEW
*Double or Nothing
*All Out
*Tuesday Night Dynamite
The trademarks are reportedly for wrestling, broadcasting and merchandising purposes.
What’s interesting is that the address for the LLC that filed the trademarks lists the address for TIAA Bank Field, the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team which is owned by Shahid Khan.
Cody has talked about the possibility of doing All In 2, and Double or Nothing is the rumored name.
Even though AXS has denied involvement with the rumored wrestling company, the trademark for Tuesday Night Dynamite could be a sign that there are plans for some sort of weekly TV series.
One way or another it looks like Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks have some big plans moving forward.
