WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge is going to be a huge event spanning twelve episodes of action-packed viral viewing pleasure. It could very well be the first steps WWE needs to secure a new broadcasting platform and could go on to greatly change the history of the business and how fans consume the product.
With so many teams to get put together and so little time before the event kicks off, WWE is starting to pair up these participants and this latest team sounds like a winner to me.
Enzo Amore needed to be pulled from the show because he has the flu and apparently it will take longer than two weeks to sort that out so he won’t be contagious anymore. So Kurt Angle did what was best for business and pulled Amore from the show. After all, they can’t afford to have another illness break out backstage.
Kurt Angle also had some rather exciting news in regards to a new team consisting of Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman. With these two on the same team, everyone else will have a big and a little problem to deal with at the same time which is a unique situation indeed.
WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge kicks off on January 16th after SmackDown Live concludes. It will air on Facebook Watch so fans can log in and enjoy this new series and with a team like Braun and Alexa involved, there could be a very interesting dynamic going on in the ring.
