Sunday night at SummerSlam, The New Day challenged The Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, but things didn’t exactly go The New Day’s way, and in the end Harper and Rowan walked out with the gold.
On Tuesday night, The New Day got a shot at redemption when they challenged The Bludgeon Brothers for the belts once again in a no disqualification match during the main event on SmackDown Live.
Both teams pulled out all the stops, and at one point Xavier Woods was leaning on the barricade, so Harper whipped Rowan into Woods, but Woods moved at the last second.
With Rowan incapacitated, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods got Harper back in the ring and put him through a table to end the match.
The New Day are now 5 time Tag Team Champions.
