It’s no big secret that ticket sales have been down for WWE live events, and it looks like the company is taking a new approach in terms of promotion.
PWInsider is reporting that local movie theaters in Pennsylvania have begun showing an ad promoting the upcoming WWE live event in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
The ad apparently featured Braun Strowman cutting a promo about coming to Wilkes-Barre, and it aired right before the previews.
At this point there’s no word on if WWE plans to expand their reach with similar ads, or if this is just an experiment for now.
