Money in the Bank and SummerSlam are the next two premium live events on WWE’s schedule and the company recently made some big announcements regarding Payback and Fastlane.
Last week WWE announced that Payback will take place from Pittsburgh in September, and on Tuesday, Pat McAfee revealed on the Pat McAfee Show that Fastlane will be taking place from Indianapolis in October.
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE is trying to maximize buzz for their premium live events. WWE only recently announced their premium live events for September and October and it’s being reported that the company is trying to be as strategic as possible when it comes to locations and announcements for premium live events.
Factors such as economics, storylines and audience growth are all weighed when it comes to making the announcements. The idea behind announcing premium live events individually is that each announcement gets to have its own moment.
WWE announced all of their 2022 PLE locations and dates well ahead of time, but it’s being said that the company is very happy regarding how things have played out for them with premium live events so far this year.
