Over the last few weeks the United States Title Tournament has been playing out on Friday Night SmackDown. This week on SmackDown, Kevin Owens faced off against Carmelo Hayes, and he managed to advance to the finals when he picked up a victory over the former NXT Champion.
Later in the night Bobby Lashley faced off against Santos Escobar in a United States Title Tournament match and The Street Profits accompanied Lashley to the ring.
As the match kicked off Bobby Lashleuy dominated Escobar early on. It seemed that Lashley had it won, but two masked men appeared and attacked The Street Profits. While Bobby Lashley was distracted Santos Escobar rolled him up to win the match. The men then removed their masks to reveal themselves as Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo as they stood side by side with Santos Escobar.
It’s been rumored for some time now that Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo would be returning to the main roster to work with Santos Escobar. WWE may have potential creative plans for Escobar, Garza & Carillo lined up moving forward and you can get more on that here.
