Earlier this month it was revealed that WWE would be making a major change to the SmackDown announce team as Lilian Garcia announced that she would be moving on from her role as the full-time ring announcer for the blue brand.
Now it seems that WWE has found a new ring announcer as Mark Shunock has officially announced that he will be taking on the role. Shunock previously worked as a host for the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders and he’s also worked for Top Rank Boxing on ESPN. He confirmed that he will be using the name Mark Nash moving forward when the following was posted:
“Stepping into a new ring with @WWE.
Thrilled to join Friday Night SmackDown.
Mark “Nash” will see you tomorrow night at @TheO2.
#WWE #WWESmackDown #SmackDown #RingAnnouncer”

This week’s episode of SmackDown is shaping up to be a huge show as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and CM Punk will all be in the house to sign the contract for their big WrestleMania match.
SmackDown will also feature two title matches as LA Knight is set to defend the WWE United States Championship against Braun Strowman, and The Street Profits are scheduled to defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against Pretty Deadly.
Stay tuned for updates.
