New Raw Women’s Champion Crowned On WWE Raw, Nia Jax Turns On Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss made a name for herself last summer when she was called up to the WWE main roster, and she quickly made her way to the top of the women’s division. Alexa Bliss is a former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, and earlier this year she was moved over to Raw in the Superstar Shake-up.

Much like her run on SmackDown Live, Alexa Bliss quickly became one of the top stars on Monday Night Raw, and for the past few months she’s been Raw Women’s Champion. Unfortunately for Bliss, her title reign came to an end at SummerSlam when Sasha Banks became a 4 time Raw Women’s Champion after she made Bliss tap out to the Banks Statement.

Bliss didn’t have to wait very long to get her rematch, as she challenged Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship in the main event of this week’s show.

Sasha Banks tried her best to retain her title, but it was Alexa who walked out with the gold.

Banks locked in the Banks Statement near the end of the match, but Alexa turned it into a cover and Sasha kicked out. Alexa Bliss then hit a DDT on Sasha to get the win.

After Alexa won the belt, Nia Jax came out to celebrate with her friend. Nia put Alexa on her shoulders, then she dropped her down to the mat.

Nia held up the belt and made it clear that she wants a title shot before she walked up the ramp as Raw went off the air.
