John Cena is now being advertised for a United States Championship match against the current United States Champion Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio and Cena are familiar with each other as they’ve feuded over the WWE Championship and World Championship in the past.
The December 26th Madison Square Garden event was originally believed to be John Cena’s return date but recent rumors suggest that he could be returning to face Alberto Del Rio at the TLC pay-per-view in Boston. Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship is also being advertised for the December 26th live event at Madison Square Garden.
