On Sunday night Impact Wrestling held their Rebellion pay-per-view, and a huge title change took place during the Impact World Championship match. Johnny Impact defended his title against Brian Cage, and in the end it was Cage who walked out with the belt.
After the match former ROH World Champion Michael Elgin made his debut, and he made it clear that he wants a shot at the title when he attacked Brian Cage. Elgin had been working with NJPW, but his contract with the company expire earlier this month.
Impact also announced that Brian Cage had to be taken to the hospital following the title match.
Stay tuned for more details on Cage’s condition as they become available.
