The past few weeks have been pretty crazy for the stars of Raw and SmackDown Live. Shane McMahon and the SmackDown roster kicked off a big feud between the two brands when they invaded Raw a few weeks ago, and the blue brand fired another shot at Raw on Monday night.
The New Day infiltrated the arena, and their distraction proved to be a blessing in disguise for Sheamus and Cesaro who managed to defeat Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions.
There’s speculation that WWE could be building toward a New Day vs. The Shield match at Survivor Series, and the company seems to be throwing more fuel on that fire. PWInsider is reporting that The New Day have been added to Raw events for the rest of the European tour, likely to continue the angle that was started last night.
This week’s episode of Raw also featured a big debut, as WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne appeared on the show.
It remains to be seen if Dunne will be a permanent member of the WWE main roster going forward, but one way or another appearing on Raw was one of the highlights of 2017 for the current UK Champion.
