The New Day have been on a roll in 2016, and they made it clear last week that they had every intention of breaking Demolition’s WWE Tag Team Title record. Last week on Raw, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson also defeated the Golden Truth to win a shot at the Raw Tag Team Titles.
This week on Raw, New Day defended their belts against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, and before the match New Day cut a promo as they once again hyped up the fact that they’re close to breaking Demolition’s record.
Big E and Xavier Woods defended the titles on behalf of the New Day, and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson tried their best to take the gold off New Day’s hands, but they failed.
The end of the match came when Anderson got Xavier Woods in a roll up, and he grabbed his tights. Woods reversed it, and grabbed the Anderon’s tights. The referee then counted the pin and the New Day retained.
