The draft gives WWE a chance to freshen things up when it comes to the main roster, and it’s been rumored for months now that WWE is planning to hold another draft at some point later this year.
It was previously reported that the WWE Draft would kick off on the August 30 episode of Monday Night Raw and continue on the September 3 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, but it looks like the event has been pushed back.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast is now reporting that he was told the WWE Draft will take place on October 4, with a possible secondary date for the draft taking place on October 1, or October 8.
The October 4 Raw will be the season 30 premiere of WWE Monday Night Raw. WWE has yet to announce locations for the possible draft dates. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
