Enzo Amore won the Cruiserweight Championship for the first time in his career after he hit Neville with a low blow at No Mercy, and on Monday it was announced that he would defend the belt against Kalisto at TLC.
However, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle decided that the title match would take place on Raw this week, and he lifted the no contact clause for Enzo then made it a lumberjack match. The 205 Live roster surrounded the ring for the main event, and chaos ensued.
The end came when Mustafa Ali got in Enzo’s face, and Enzo hit him with a clothesline on the outside. Kalisto went to the top rope, but Enzo grabbed his leg and then climbed the turnbuckle behind him. Kalisto fought back and hit the Salida Del Sol. Kalisto pinned Enzo to win the Cruiserweight Championship and Rich Swann and Mustafa Ali hoisted him up on their shoulders as they celebrated.
This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw also featured The Shield reunion, and they triple powerbombed Braun Strowman through a table.
Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman have been feuding for most of 2017, and the two rivals will face off once again next week on Raw in a cage match.
