It’s certainly not uncommon for WWE to shake things up with the announce teams and they will be doing just that next week. A few months ago WWE announced that Joe Tessitore would be joining the broadcast team and Michael Cole confirmed at SummerSlam that Joe will start appearing on Raw beginning September 2nd.
Sports Business Journal is now reporting that Wade Barrett will be joining Joe Tessitore on the September 2nd episode of Monday Night Raw. Michael Cole is set to move to Friday Night SmackDown where he will call the action alongside Corey Graves.
Pat McAfee had been working with Michael Cole on Raw, but he recently wrapped up his run with WWE so he could return to ESPN’s College GameDay. It was noted that McAfee plans to reunite with Michael Cole when Monday Night Raw moves to Netflix in January.
