There are always rumors making the rounds in regards to All Elite Wrestling possibly introducing a new championship, and this week on Dynamite a new title was announced. AEW announced the new AEW All Atlantic Championship on Dynamite this week. In the announcement video it was revealed that the belt represents 130 countries, and a tournament will be held to crown the first champion.

The first champion will be crowned in a fatal four way at Forbidden Door, and this week PAC defeated Buddy Matthews to qualify for the title match. Other qualifying matches that have been confirmed include the following:
Miro vs. Ethan Page
Penta Oscuro vs. Malakai Black
Unspecified NJPW match
It was not clarified when the other qualifying matches will take place. The first ever AEW All Atlantic Champion will be crowned at Forbidden Door on June 26th. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
