Last week at WWE Payback, The Golden Truth told The Hardys that they wanted a shot at the Raw Tag Team Titles. But the next night on Raw, General Manager Kurt Angle told them they would have to earn their shot.
The Golden Truth tried their best to earn their shot in a Tag Team Turmoil Match this week on Raw, but they weren’t able to pull off the victory.
Enzo Amore & Big Cass, Heath Slater & Rhyno, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and Cesaro & Sheamus all competed in the Tag Team Turmoil Match, but only one team survived. Sheamus and Cesaro managed to defeat every team in the match to earn a shot at the Raw Tag Team Titles and they will go on to challenge The Hardy Boyz, presumably at Extreme Rules.
After Raw this week Dean Ambrose faced off against The Miz and the match ended after Dean Ambrose hit Miz with the Intercontinental Title. Ambrose then announced that he was using his co-General Manager powers to disqualify himself. After the match Dean Ambrose hit The Miz with Dirty Deeds twice, then left, then he came back and hit Miz with Dirty Deeds one more time to send the crowd home happy.
