NBC TV Station Endorses AEW Over WWE, Cody Rhodes Reacts

There’s been a lot of talk about a wrestling war over the last few months, and those talks have only intensified now that AEW is going head to head with NXT on Wednesday nights.

This week independent wrestlers Mike Sydal and Kyle Roberts appeared on Monday Night Raw, and they were billed as the Chicago Cubs, Rizzo and Bryant.

The duo battled in Chicago Cubs uniforms, but they quickly lost a squash match to Raw Tag Team Champions the Viking Raiders.

The official NBC station for the Cubs commented on a GIF from the match when they wrote, “We like @AEWrestling better anyway.”

The comment caught the attention of Cody Rhodes who posted the following reaction:
