WWE Super ShowDown is set to air live from Saudi Arabia shortly, and there’s been speculation that WWE could be adding a women’s match to the card. Natalya and Alexa Bliss were both flown to Saudi Arabia for the big show, but it doesn’t sound like they will be facing off in Jeddah.
F4Wonline.com reports that the match will not be taking place because it was not approved by the Saudi Arabian government.
At one point the government reportedly told WWE that they could have their first women’s match at Super ShowDown, but then wavered on the idea.
There’s speculation that WWE could be trying to get approval to do a women’s match on the next show in Saudi Arabia which is scheduled to take place in November.
