At Elimination Chamber, Naomi finally achieved her goal when she won the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title. She defeated Alexa Bliss to win the title for the very first time, but she broke the hearts of fans around the world when she announced on SmackDown a few days later that she had to vacate the title due to injury.
At the time Naomi’s status for WrestleMania was up in the air, but this week on SmackDown Live she returned and declared that she will be competing in the SmackDown Women’s Title match in Orlando.
Becky Lynch made her way to the ring for a match with Carmella, but the match was then turned into a tag team bout which saw Becky Lynch team up with Mickie James to take on Carmella and Alexa Bliss.
After the match Naomi made her return and she cleaned house to a big pop from the crowd.
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion then grabbed a mic and declared that she’s back and she’s officially entering the title match at WrestleMania. The fans were thrilled to have her back, and one thing’s for sure, the SmackDown Women’s Title match at WrestleMania 33 is now a lot more intriguing.
