The Royal Rumble aired live from Tropicana Field on Saturday night and the women’s Royal Rumble match kicked off the show. Fans were expecting to see a few surprises which the women’s Royal Rumble match delivered.
The first surprise entrant joined the match at number 2 when former SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi made her return. Current TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Gace then entered the match at number 5.
NXT star Roxanne Perez entered the match at number 27 followed by Jade Cargill who entered at number 28. Jade Cargill immediately went after Nia Jax and she managed to pick Jax up then toss her over the top rope to a big reaction from the fans.
Another surprise entrant joined the match when former NXT Champion Tiffany Stratton entered at number 29. The final entrant was a surprise as former SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan returned at number 30.
The final five came down to Tiffany Stratton, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Jade Cargill and Bayley. Shortly after it came down to five Stratton and Belair were both eliminated bringing the match down to three.
Liv Morgan managed to eliminate Jade Cargill then Bayley eliminated Liv Morgan to win the 2024 women’s Royal Rumble match.
