WWE is a company that is constantly filing trademarks and a recent trademark filing has caught the attention of the wrestling world. According to the United States Patent & Trademark Office website WWE filed to trademark “FINAL TESTAMENT” on January 7.
The full description for the trademark reads as follows:
“Mark For: FINAL TESTAMENT trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and sports entertainment via an online community portal.”
At this point in time WWE has not confirmed what the trademark will be used for, but fans on social media are already speculating that Final Testament could be the name of the new group Karrion Kross and Scarlett recently formed with Paul Ellering and AOP on SmackDown.
