The Hurt Business has their fair share of fans and those fans have been waiting patiently for the group to come together again. It doesn’t seem like everyone’s on the same page just yet, but MVP is trying to rally the troops, and it seems that a new member could be added to The Hurt Business.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the idea of Carmelo Hayes joining The Hurt Business has been discussed. However, the idea is just something that’s been discussed and it’s not definite, but there has been talk of Hayes getting called up to the WWE main roster. If it does happen it likely wouldn’t be until late April as Bron Breakker vs. Carmelo Hayes looks to be the main event for NXT Stand & Deliver on April 1.
The Hurt Business quickly became one of the most talked about factions in WWE after they formed, but their run came to an end when they split up on the road to WrestleMania 37. MVP recently talked about Vince McMahon’s decision to split up the group and he admitted that he doesn’t know why the decision was made.
“Vince McMahon makes decisions and that’s way above my pay grade, the decision that he made. Why he chose to do it? I have no idea. But it was his choice, he’s the boss — well at the time, he was the boss — that’s just how things go. We were all scratching our heads, but at the end of the day, I’m doing my best to try to get the team back together. Bobby’s being a little stubborn, but I got Shelton and Cedric back on board with me and I’m trying to get Bobby to come around, so we’ll see if we can get The Hurt Business back in business.”
