MVP Teases SmackDown Stars Joining The Hurt Business

When The Hurt Business first formed the group quickly became a dominant faction, but nowadays things are a little different. On the road to WrestleMania 37, The Hurt Business fell apart, and Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin were kicked out of the group.

Nowadays WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP are operating as a duo, but it looks like MVP might be looking to add some more talent to the ranks of The Hurt Business.

MVP recently posted a photo of himself with former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits along with a caption saying, “Good afternoon gentlemen…,” and the photo got a lot of people talking.

The official WWE on FOX Twitter account also took notice of the apparent tease.

After Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin were removed from the group Bobby Lashley admitted in an interview that the breakup broke his heart, but noted that The Hurt Business isn’t over.

“But ultimately, business is business sometimes. And originally the Hurt Business was started by MVP and myself. Then we brought some people on that really deserved a chance. They took it and they ran with it. But the Business is not over. The Hurt Business is not over. We’re just making some adjustments, and I think within the next few weeks we’ll see how those adjustments pan out.”
