Mustafa Ali has been making headlines a lot lately as the WWE star revealed a number of weeks ago that he had requested to be released from his contract. Ali is still with the company, and it was later reported that WWE has no intentions of releasing him.
Recently Mustafa Ali indicated that he has about two and a half years left on his WWE contract when he posted the following on Twitter:
“i’ll see ya all in like 2 1/2 years”

Mustafa Ali has not appeared on WWE programming since November of 2021 despite reports that he only asked for one show off for paternity leave. Vince McMahon and Ali reportedly got into a heated argument over a creative disagreement months ago, and he hasn’t been attending WWE shows since.
