Jack Swagger is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and he was recently released from his WWE contract. Swagger informed the world via Chael Sonnen’s podcast that he had requested to be released, and shortly after the announcement was made, WWE granted his request.
Now Jack Swagger is set to hit the independent scene, and it looks like he’ll be hitting it hard as he’s already been confirmed for House of Hardcore’s tour of Australia in June. He’s also set to work with Alberto El Patron in Mexico in May.
One indie promoter told the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Jack Swagger is looking to charge $4,000 for independent shows, and the feeling is that number is too high for most indie promotions.
