Earlier this month the Worlds Collide premium live event emanated from the Kia Forum and following the show Mr. Iguana became a very hot topic. It was later reported that WWE had significant interest in making Mr. Iguana a part of WWE programming on a regular basis.

Recently Mr. Iguana did an interview with Línea Directa TV, and during the interview he indicated that he was told he would be going directly to the WWE main roster.

“Yesterday (6/10),. I was at the NXT Performance Center in Orlando, and I was told, ‘You’re not coming through here, you’re going to the main roster.’ I posted a picture yesterday with Shawn Michaels, and he said we need you here because you’re the best-selling t-shirt this week and the fastest rising star on the cards, and all since Saturday. Since Saturday, I feel like the adrenaline hasn’t stopped. It’s every kid’s dream to be in WWE.”

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Mr. Iguana immediately got heat for the comments. It was also noted that the video ended up getting edited and those comments ended up getting edited out.

According to the report the AAA talents who appeared on the Worlds Collide premium live event have signed contracts. The money is said to be nice compared to what those in AAA earn, but less than WWE developmental. Talent are believed to be thrilled with the deals as they are hopeful they could make WWE money in the future.
