The end of John Cena’s retirement tour is quickly approaching and it was recently announced that his final opponent will be determined via the Last Time Is Now Tournament. The Raw and SmackDown General Managers have been selecting names for the tournament and this week during SmackDown more competitors were confirmed.
Nick Aldis confirmed that The Miz will face off against Jey Uso and he also confirmed that LA Knight will be competing in the tournament. When Nick Aldis pulled out the name of LA Knight’s opponent he decided not to reveal it and said that he’s going to keep it a surprise instead.
The updated lineup for the Last Time Is Now Tournament is as follows:
Monday Night Raw 11/10
– Rusev vs. Damian Priest
– Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sheamus
Friday Night SmackDown 11/14
– The Miz vs. Jey Uso
– LA Knight vs. Mystery Opponent
As of this writing 7 WWE stars and one mystery entrant have been confirmed for the tournament. When the tournament was first announced it was confirmed that 16 competitors would be entering, so there are still 8 open spots.
