WrestleMania 36 has become a very hot topic as events are being canceled all over the world due to coronavirus, but as of this writing the show is still moving forward.
PWInsider is reporting that it’s looking less and less likely that WrestleMania 36 will take place from Tampa on 4/5, as local Tampa officials have stated that if WWE doesn’t postpone the event then they will step in and make a decision.
It’s also being reported that there’s no truth of WWE moving WrestleMania to New York or Saudi Arabia.
There was talk of WWE holding WrestleMania 36 at the Performance Center in front of no fans if all else fails. If WWE goes in this direction then NXT TakeOver and the Hall of Fame induction ceremony are expected to take place from the Performance Center as well.
It’s also possible that the event will be pushed back, and a 6/7 date was rumored among talents last week. It’s being said that there has been a push in certain circles to postpone the event, but that Vince McMahon is adamant there will be a WrestleMania on 4/5.
