There’s been a lot of movement in the wrestling world over the last few months, and The Hardys have both finished up with All Elite Wrestling. Matt and Jeff Hardy are currently free agents which has obviously led to a lot of talk about the former WWE Tag Team Champions possibly returning to the company. Recently PWInsider reported that The Hardys met with WWE on Friday, and now more details about the meeting have been revealed.
Fightful Select reports that The Hardys were already set to be in town for WrestleCon, and WWE invited them to film interviews and content. It was noted that some of the content was for active series and there’s potential for Hardy-specific presentations.
The Hardys have been working with Total Nonstop Action recently, but they are working without a contract. It’s being said that The Hardys are enjoying their time there and they are still committed to working more dates with the company.
People in WWE who spoke on the situation noted that there wasn’t much to read into. However, other sources outside of the company believe that Matt and Jeff Hardy will end up making an appearance for WWE at some point.
