In recent weeks fans have been seeing a number of WWE Superstars jump from brand to brand and it sounds like fans can expect to see more crossovers in the future. With all of the jumping back and forth there’s been speculation that WWE could be ending the brand split completely, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Now Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast is reporting that a WWE source claims the brand split will not be ending. However, the current plan is to have more Superstars jump from brand to brand depending on what’s needed for the storylines.
Recently it was reported that WWE Raw stars Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins are all set to appear on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Recently Roman Reigns unified the Universal Championship and the WWE Championship when he defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. The Usos unified the tag team titles last week on SmackDown which means there are only one set of champions in the tag team division right now. There’s currently no word on whether or not WWE has plans to split the belts back up. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
