Chris Jericho defeated Adam Page in the main event of All Out to become the first ever AEW World Champion, and less than 24 hours after he won the title the belt went missing.
The Tallahassee PD did manage to recover the belt, and now we have some more details on how it was found.
According to Jeffrey Burlew of the Tallahassee Democrat, someone turned the belt in to the PD after reporting that they found it on the side of the road.
“Breaking: @TallyPD announces it did in fact recover @IAmJericho’s championship belt earlier today. Someone turned it in at headquarters after reporting finding it along the side of the road. The golden belt was valued at nearly $30,000.”
No arrests have been made, but anyone with information regarding the belt is being encouraged to get in touch with the Tallahassee PD.
It was also noted that the belt was taken at 5:30 PM on Sunday, and it was reported stolen two hours later.
