Jack Perry faced off against Hook in a match that took place during All In Zero Hour, and at one point Perry and Hook brawled on a limo. Following a spot involving a window on the limo Jack Perry seemingly referenced a previous altercation with CM Punk when he said “it’s real glass, cry me a river.”
It was later reported by Fightful Select that Perry was involved in a backstage altercation with CM Punk before Punk’s match with Samoa Joe at All In. One side of the story claimed that Jack Perry stepped in Punk’s face which escalated the situation.
Miro responded to a tweet which referenced the side of the story claiming that Jack Perry approached CM Punk backstage and “bumped” him with a tweet of his own claiming the story “was fake and untrue.”
Now Fightful Select is reporting that there are other versions of the story claiming that CM Punk threw a punch and stepped up to Jack Perry first. There are also other accounts claiming that CM Punk initiated things by getting in Jack Perry’s face and pie facing him. CM Punk allegedly put Jack Perry in a front face lock before the altercation was broken up.
As we noted earlier PWInsider has reported that Jack Perry was asked to leave Wembley Stadium following the altercation while CM Punk remained at the venue. Stay tuned for more updates.
