Cash Wheeler is currently one half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, but he’s been making headlines recently because he was arrested after being charged with aggravated assault with a firearm in Florida.
PWInsider reports that at the arraignment this morning the prosecution noted that it was “believed to be a road rage incident.” During the incident Wheeler allegedly “flashed a gun” at the other party.
According to Wheeler’s lawyer he did not know the other party. It was also noted that the word “victims” was used during the proceedings which indicates that multiple people were involved.
Wheeler’s bond was set at $2500, and he was also ordered to turn in any weapons he owns to the Orange County Sherriff’s Office. The weapons must be turned in within 12 hours of his release pending the resolution of the case. The AEW star has also been ordered to not have any contact with the victims.
