Undertaker walked out of the Camping World Stadium back in April and left his attire in the center of the ring in what many of the WWE Universe have suggested is a symbol that The Deadman has left the company.
WWE themselves have never officially revealed that The Undertaker has retired, only that The Phenom planned to undergo hip surgery following his loss to Roman Reigns at the 33rd annual WrestleMania event.
This week on Raw, the WWE Universe heard The Undertaker mentioned during Roman Reigns versus Seth Rollins when Michael Cole claimed that Reigns was the man that “perhaps retired The Undertaker.”
Even though Undertaker told many stars backstage after WrestleMania that he was done with the company, it seems that WWE is holding out hope that Taker may reach out ahead of WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.
When Taker left the stadium back in April he broke character when he hugged his wife and former WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool at ringside and he did leave his ring attire in the ring, so it’s hard to imagine him being able to come back from something like that, especially now that he has lost twice at WrestleMania.
It is a long shot and it seems that WWE knows that they could be planning WrestleMania next without The Deadman, and they haven’t prepared a backup plan.
