It’s been almost 4 years since CM Punk walked out on WWE, and the relationship between the two sides doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Punk has given absolutely no indication that he wants to once again get involved in the world of professional wrestling, so don’t hold your breath for a return to WWE.
However, CM Punk has been busy brushing up on his MMA skills. Even though he was demolished by Mickey Gall during his first UFC fight, that doesn’t mean he’s given up hope.
Punk’s coach Duke Roufus recently congratulated him on earning his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Duke has also said that the former WWE Champion is training for his next MMA fight.
When and where Punk’s next MMA fight will happen is unknown at this time, but it looks like there’s at least one UFC fighter who wouldn’t mind battling him.
Colby Covington recently took to Twitter and he decided to talk a little trash to CM Punk for stealing Kenta’s moves.
Speaking of plagiarizing… @CMPunk, you ever pay Kenta for stealing all his moves? Too bad you can't steal mine to win a real fight you poser.

Prior to joining WWE, Hideo Itami was wrestling in Japan as Kenta, and while he was in Japan, Punk made the GTS famous in the United States.
To be fair, Punk openly admitted he stole the move from Kenta, and now that he’s Hideo Itami he’s using the move on WWE programming, so all’s well that ends well.
Keep your eye out for Hideo Itami on the main roster as he’s set to join 205 Live next week.
