MJF has been one of the stars to watch since the beginning of All Elite Wrestling and he’s ridden a wave of momentum all the way to the top of the company. Currently MJF is the AEW World Champion and he’s set to defend the title against Bryan Danielson at the Revolution pay-per-view next month.
This week MJF confronted Bryan Danielson on Dynamite and he cut a passionate promo where he referenced his fiancé when he said that he met a girl he loved who changed his outlook on every single person on this planet. He then went on to say that he wanted to start a family with her, but she left him.
MJF added that the AEW World Championship is the only thing in this world he can trust and that, “The AEW World Championship is the only thing stopping me grabbing a fist full of pills and calling it a day.”
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful the MJF promo had a lot of truth to it as MJF did split from his fiancé.

It was announced back in September of 2022 that MJF had gotten engaged, but it appears that the engagement is off. MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson at Revolution on March 5th. Stay tuned for updates.
