For decades Vince McMahon was the most powerful man in the professional wrestling business, but Vince announced his retirement back in July after an investigation uncovered that Vince had paid millions of dollars to cover up sexual misconduct allegations.

The wrestling world is still processing the absence of Vince McMahon, and during an appearance on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, MJF praised Vince McMahon’s talent.

“That’s a tough one. So he’s left a gigantic legacy in the history of the business and there’s a lot of stuff that came out. We don’t know what’s real, we don’t know what’s fake, I think it’s all under investigation. All I can say is, I grew up watching the guy, I thought he was tremendously talented.”

While talking about the current state of WWE programming MJF admitted that it seems to be better under Triple H, but also noted that acknowledging that somewhat spits on Vince McMahon’s legacy.

“I think it’s better and it’s really good and I think our product is also better. But I think to say that kind of spits on the legacy of what VKM created.”

MJF also confirmed that he signed a new deal with AEW that did not include a contract extension. However, he also indicated that he would still be interested in joining WWE when his deal is up if the money is right. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
