There’s no denying that 2017 was another great year for The Miz. He held the Intercontinental Championship for several months, and he continuously impressed fans with his promos.
The Miz seems to have taken things to a slightly different level over the past 12 months, and he recently received some major praise from Rolling Stone.
Rolling Stone named Miz the Wrestler of the Year noting that he had an impressive performance in the Royal Rumble, got better in the ring, and managed to hold his own on the mic during his feud with John Cena.
Other names who appear on the list include Braun Strowman who was runner up for Wrestler of the Year, The Usos who won Tag Team of the Year, and former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal who placed for Comeback of the Year.
The Miz is currently taking some time away from WWE right now as he’s shooting “The Marine 6: Close Quarters” and now it looks like he has his eyes on another project as well.
Now that Miz has been named Wrestler of the Year he’s angling for the cover of Rolling Stone, and we wish him the best of luck.
