Mike Bennett Reveals WWE’s Reaction To His Problems With Addiction

Back in April Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis were both released from WWE, and the couple have been openly talking about their WWE run on social media.

It’s no big secret that Mike had issues with addiction during his WWE run, and he’s openly talked about his recovery.

Mike recently responded to a fan on Twitter and he cleared up some misconceptions regarding his recovery. He noted that he never went to rehab, and that WWE never paid for him to go to rehab. Mike also noted that no one from management checked on him, or asked if he needed help during recovery.

“I never went to rehab. My wife was my rehab. I recovered on the road. They never paid for my rehab and they also never reached out to me once.Not a single person in management ever contacted me to see if I needed help or if I was doing ok in my recovery.All credit goes to my wife”
