Mike And Maria Kanellis Welcome Their First Child Into The World, Mustafa Ali Talks CWC

Mike and Maria Kanellis joined the SmackDown Live brand last year at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, but fans haven’t seen much of Mike or Maria on TV as of late.

That’s because Mike and Maria have been focused on becoming parents, and they recently welcomed their first child into the world.

According to WWE.com, their daughter Fredrica Moon was born this morning, and she weighs 6 pounds. Maria Kanellis and Fredrica are both said to be doing great.

Mustafa Ali is set to battle Cedric Alexander on WrestleMania Sunday to determine who will be the new Cruiserweight Champion, and he’s come a long way since the Cruiserweight Classic.

Prior to joining WWE full time, Ali was a police officer in Chicago, and he recently told ESPN how his co-workers found out about his involvement with WWE.

“There were days I’d wrestle at 9 o’clock, and afterward, I often didn’t shower and would just throw on sweatpants. I had my police gear in the car and would rush to get to the station by 10:30, clean myself off as best I could and be ready for my shift by 10:59.”

“When I eventually came back to roll call, everyone was staring and smirking at me,” Ali said. “I said, ‘What’s going on?’ And they said, ‘How was your vacation?’ I told them it was a lot of fun, but they kept pressing. ‘Where did you say you went again? Who did you go with?’ She took a picture and sent it around to everyone, so yeah, they eventually found out.”
