When Mickie James first returned to WWE years ago it seemed that fans were happy to have her back, and she had a fairly consistent presence on WWE programming. However, as time went on Mickie seemed to get lost in the shuffle, and it was announced back in April that the former WWE Women’s Champion had been released from her contract.
Mickie James then became a very hot topic on social media as she posted a picture revealing that WWE had sent her belongings to her in a trash bag.
Recently the former WWE star talked about what’s next for her career on Busted Open Radio, and she noted that at the moment she’s heartbroken over the wrestling business.
“I have such a — I’m so nervous because I really — I don’t know what to do. I do know that I am personally working on something. I’m working on my own little project thing and we’ll see what happens there. Obviously I have Legacy supps and stuff and I’m taking appearances and bookings but I really — when I talked to you Tommy [Dreamer] and I was like I just — I don’t even know how I feel. I’m so heartbroken in a sense, you know? I’m not gonna cry. But I am, I’m a bit heartbroken in the business because it’s a bit disappointing. That’s all.”
