This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, which featured the final hype for WWE Backlash averaged 2.454 million viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. Viewership was down for this week’s show compared to the 2.835 million viewers that tuned into last week’s episode. This week’s numbers were a new low for SmackDown since the show moved to Tuesdays and went live.
After almost two years of hype, former WWE World Champion CM Punk will finally be making his debut at UFC 203 on September 10. Punk will be facing Mickey Gall in his debut fight.
Mick Foley recorded a video message for CM Punk, and UFC posted it online. In the video the Raw General Manager says that he’s rooting for Punk, and that there’s a lot of people rooting for Punk. He also said that there’s a lot of people rooting against Punk, but he knows that Punk really enjoys proving people wrong.
