There’s certainly no denying that women’s wrestling has come a long way over the last few years. The women in the world of professional wrestling have worked hard to put on entertaining matches for the fans, and in WWE certain stars have made history by main eventing shows like WrestleMania and Hell in a Cell.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley seems to think that it’s time for WWE to create an all women’s brand, and he tagged Vince McMahon in a tweet while telling him that AEW could beat WWE to the punch.
“Dear Vince, An all women’s brand NEEDS to happen in @WWE Unless you want @AEW to beat you to the punch. Sincerely, Mick @VinceMcMahon”
Former WWE producer Lance Storm also chimed in on the conversation and questioned the logistics of how the women’s division would be booked if there was an all women’s brand.
While Mick Foley brought up the idea of AEW beating WWE to the punch when it comes to an all women’s brand, Gail Kim pointed out that it could be Impact Wrestling that makes the first move.
