For decades The Undertaker was a constant in WWE, and he feuded with some of the toughest wrestlers that the company had to offer. Taker’s rivalry with Mick Foley was one that fans remember fondly with their Hell in a Cell match being one of the most infamous matches in WWE history.
Earlier this year The Undertaker was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and he mentioned a number of wrestlers who had an impact on his career, but many fans were surprised that he didn’t talk about Mick Foley.
During a recent episode of Foley Is Pod, Mick Foley discussed what some fans perceived as a snub while noting that he never expected to be mentioned during the speech.
“I think it’s a lot to do about very little. Maybe it’s not nothing. The sad part for me is that people took exception with my daughter just innocently saying it was a great speech, but I wish he mentioned my dad. Look, I never expect a mention. That’s my feeling – glass half-full guy. I never expect it, but it’s always nice when it happens. So, if somebody asked me, would I have liked him to mention my name? Yeah, sure, that would have been really nice. But I’m not gonna say I’m disappointed because I don’t expect it.”
