Mick Foley Asking Fans Who They Want As The Next Raw General Manager

The Raw General Manager position is a thankless job. Over the years many people have filled the role, only to be given the boot, and it seems like the position has a very high turnover rate. It’s not easy trying to run Raw when you’re constantly berated by the McMahon family, and Mick Foley’s on screen relationship with Stephanie McMahon seems to be heading south.

A few months ago Mick Foley confirmed that he’s going to need hip surgery in the future which would require him to take some time away from WWE. It’s not exactly known when he will be undergoing surgery, but it’s been rumored that he could be leaving soon, and if he does it would leave the General Manager position open on Raw.

Fans all over the world have been talking about the possibility of Stephanie McMahon bringing in a new GM ever since Foley teased that someone might need to fill the spot. Lana seems to be a popular choice and future WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is a name that’s come up frequently as well. Now Raw General Manager Mick Foley is asking the fans who they want to see fill the role.

Mick Foley shared a post on Facebook where jokingly made reference to a possible second season of “Holy Foley” which would see Stephanie McMahon move into the Foley house. Don’t get your hopes up though, because Mick made it clear that his idea for the second season probably isn’t happening, which is too bad because that actually sounds like it could be pretty entertaining.

One way or another, Mick is looking for feedback and suggestions for the next Raw General Manager, and it remains to be seen if he’s foreshadowing upcoming events, or if he’s just having a little fun. Either way, he’s got people talking.
