Michael Elgin Signs Two Year Deal With New Japan Pro Wrestling

It’s being reported by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that former ROH World Champion Michael Elgin has signed a two year deal with NJPW.

According to the report the deal will allow Elgin to take bookings wherever he chooses to outside of Japan. He will still be able to work with companies such as ROH, PWG and others.

Michael Elgin started working with NJPW in 2015 as part of the G1 Climax tournament. Last month he challenged Jay Lethal for the ROH World Championship at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 10 event at the Tokyo Dome. Elgin was not successful in his attempt to win the ROH World Title for a second time.
